Fractional RF Microneedling VS. CO2 Laser

Home » Blog » Fractional RF Microneedling VS. CO2 Laser
Introduction

Fractional RF Microneedling, that is, fractional radio frequency microneedling technology, is a skin beauty method that combines radio frequency energy and microneedling technology. This technology is designed to deliver RF energy into the deeper layers of the skin by creating tiny channels on the surface of the skin, thereby promoting collagen production and the skin’s self-repair mechanisms.Use tiny needles to repair the skin. If your skin is a wall with exfoliated epidermis, then radio frequency microneedle is a brand new paint to repair the exfoliated epidermis.

CO2 Laser (Carbon Dioxide Laser) is a highly focused laser technology used for skin regeneration and repair. It acts on the different layers of the skin to stimulate the growth of new skin by evaporating damaged skin cells. This laser can penetrate deep into the skin. If your skin is a wall, the wall will be seriously damaged. Then the CO2 laser can repair the wall.

Fractional RF Microneedling
Working principle:

Fractional RF Microneedling is the combination of radio frequency technology and microneedling technology.
Radio frequency technology acts like a special energy transmitter that penetrates deep into the skin. This energy can stimulate the collagen inside the skin, like awakening the “spring” of the skin, making the skin firmer and more elastic.

Microneedling is like a little magic wand that gently makes many tiny holes in the skin. These micropores can help RF energy enter the skin better, like opening a small door for RF energy.

Fractional RF Microneedling uses tiny pinholes and radio frequency energy. Stimulates collagen production inside the skin, helping the skin to repair and improve itself.

Fractional RF Microneedling User Experience

Kaplan Plastic Surgery Medical Center, Tel Aviv, Israel –Haim Kaplan and Lilach Kaplan
Through multiple treatments of 14 users,Each patient had 8 non-ablative treatments and 4 fractional treatments (fractional skin resurfacing and Intensif).
Methods: 14 subjects were enrolled in this study using EndyMed PRO™ platform. Each patient had 8 non-ablative treatments and 4 fractional treatments (fractional skin resurfacing and Intensif).
Results: The global aesthetic score was used to evaluate improvement. All patients had improvement in skin appearance. About 43% had excellent or very good improvement above 50%, 18% had good improvement between 25 and 50%, and the rest 39% had a mild improvement of < 25%. Downtime was minimal and no adverse effect was reported.
Conclusions: Our data show significant improvement of skin texture, skin laxity and wrinkle reduction achieved using RF treatment platform.1
